Travis was born and raised in the northeast kingdom of Vermont and has a strong commitment to family and work. He started in the electrical field as an electrical apprentice in 2004, and began working as a foreman with MEI in February 2010. Travis worked significantly and consistently with the MEI Vice President who oversaw several large projects. Travis was promoted to Project Manager in 2014, and holds a Master Electrician license in both Vermont and New Hampshire.
Steve has been working in the electrical industry for over 30 years. After graduating from Vermont Technical College with an Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering, he spent three years working for Digital Equipment Corporation. He then started an electrical contracting company and acquired his Master Electrician's license.
Steve spent seven years gaining the necessary skills to move to a management position for a larger company, and for 20 years performed electrical systems' design and project engineering - which he has continued since joining MEI Electrical Contractors in 2011.
In addition, for the past 20 years, Steve has been an instructor for Vermont Technical College and Essex Center for Technology, teaching the Electrical Apprenticeship Program.
