Safety Director
Luke came to MEI Electrical Contractors with a robust background in business management and departmental leadership. After a lengthy career as an Emergency Medical Services Executive Director, Luke transitioned into private consultancy in 2020, contracting with businesses to revitalize and rebuild Human Resources, Finance, and Operations Departments following pandemic closures. He also served as Chairman of the Vermont Commission on Native American Affairs where he oversaw and championed the State’s official recognition of four Abenaki tribes by legislative action which became law and remains to this day.

Luke achieved his BBA from LSC and completed the IREMS program at UVM. His commitment to organizational excellence is bolstered by certificates in Human Resources, Workplace Safety, and Finance Management. Teaching and speaking to groups about workplace safety, team building, and motivational empowerment is where Luke feels most purposeful. He's a natural leader and communicator who thrives in dynamic situations that require innovation and complex solutions.
Beyond his professional achievements, Luke is a multi-instrumental musician and singer/songwriter. He was born and raised the Northeast Kingdom and lives near Willoughby Lake with his wife and three German Shepherds and spends his free time outdoors with family and friends. He loves being a Dad and lights up at the very mention of being a Grampy to his two favorite little boys in the world.
